   ASPIRE BIG BAND .
   Tawa's own big band. Good musicians that have lots of fun
     performing shows, swing dances, jazz festivals and more.
     Band membership requires audition. The band is available for
     hire for a modest fee.
   Rehearsals are 7.30-9.00pm Monday nights in the Blue Room at
     the Salvation Army communty centre, 175 Main Road, Tawa.

   ASPIRE MUSIC PERFORMANCE ACADEMY .
   A free communty music academy for instrumentalists and vocalists,
     specialising in live group performance.

   BB LEARNERS' BAND .
   Practices 7-8pm on Tuesdays during school terms upstairs at
     Tawa Union Church. This brass/wind/percussion band originated
     from the Boys' Brigade, but is open to girls and boys, women and men,
     ages 8-80 plus. Membership and use of band instruments is free.

   BELLY DANCING SUPPER CLUB .
   Informal belly dancing club for all ages and experience levels.
     Tuition available. No experience necessary, though experienced
     dancers are most welcome. Meets every second Thursday
     7.30-9.30pm, Beanstalk Kindergarten, Duncan Street, Tawa.
