"Spring into Tawa" Market Day 2012

"Spring into Tawa" Market Day takes place in the vicinity of Tawa Plaza and the Main Road shops each September. It's an occasion for the community to come together to buy whatever's on offer at the many and varied stalls, and to enjoy some of the entertainment being provided.

Students from the NZ Radio Training School traditionally play the role of 'MC' (or MCs) and do a great job in running a few games and competitions, mostly but not exclusively for the kids. The Red Hackle Pipe Band traditionally marches along the Main Road and into the plaza area later in the morning (around 11am) to entertain the crowd with a few items, and there will be one or two other groups to entertain as well.

This year (2012), Spring into Tawa is being held on Saturday 8 September, from 9am to 12.30pm, wet or fine - and it looks like the weather might not be too flash! COME AND ENJOY THE OCCASION REGARDLESS!

All 64 stalls have now been booked. We've added the new layout below.
