A group of Tawa College students will be going to France next year - under the supervision of a group of teachers from the French Department. As part of their fundraising efforts they held an Easter Raffle which was drawn on Thursday evening, 28th March 2013. The above photo shows Malcolm Sparrow (Tawa Community Board Chair) drawing the winning ticket, ably assisted by Suzanne Lester, part of the fundraising team and mother of one of the students on the trip.

Winners of the Easter Raffle for the Tawa College French trip were: .
1st - Family Easter Basket valued at $75 - Tracey Souness, Whitby .
2nd - Children's Cadbury Easter Basket valued at $55 - Anna Kelly, Tawa .
3rd - Ferrero Rochter Basket valued at $42 - Steve Warren, Titahi Bay .
